Itinerary: Tapas Guided Tour
We will leave from the district of Las Letras, wandering through one of the oldest and most historic neighbourhoods in the capital.
The tour starts at a historic tavern that has maintained its charm for more than 80 years. Order yourself a drink and while you enjoy a tasting of 3 or 4 tapas typical of the place and of Spanish gastronomy, the guide will tell you about its history and how this iconic place has remained open for years.
Here you will have the opportunity to buy the products you have tasted if you liked them in the back room.
We continue to the second stop and slowly leave the “Barrio de las Letras“, the local guide will tell you about the history and legends of its streets as you stroll through the streets.
You will now visit an old inn where you will be offered an extensive menu of wines by the glass and tapas of the day on large blackboards. Again the guide will advise you on the wines and send your order for you to continue your tasting of the local gastronomy.
We will continue our tapas tour with the third stop at a centenary tavern in Madrid where we will be offered the traditional vermouth and prawns tapa as well as your own Spanish wine in the Plaza Mayor.
Again your guide will advise you on the wine and order your food.
Our last stop will be at another century-old tavern which was often visited by Lorca and Pablo Neruda. We will taste wines, typical dishes and some desserts to end our tour.
Your guide will say goodbye to you after leaving the last tavern, completing the whole tapas tour and stroll through the streets of Madrid, and will tell you where to go next.

Meeting point to start the route with our Guide
For the tapas and wine tour we will meet at the meeting point in Plaza de Santa Ana, next to the statue of Calderón de la Barca in Madrid, now you will meet your group of friends with whom you will enjoy the tour with your guide.
