Itinerary of the Wine Cellar Route through Madrid
- We will get into the minivan or mini bus to go to the first winery, which will take approximately 45 minutes.
- We will make our first stop at a vineyard of more than 80 years old, we will meet the owners who will accompany us to their winery where we will taste several wines with appetizers and they will talk to us about organic viticulture.
- To get to know our second winery we will go to another village in Madrid. The owner of the bodega, who still makes wine in over a hundred year old vats, will tell us about the wine making process, and we will learn about the history of his family while tasting his wines and some of the typical recipes of the village.
- Our third stop will be at a winery with centenary caves where they age their wines. We will taste white, red and sparkling wines with typical local dishes.
- After the visit to the third winery we will head back to Madrid.Relax and enjoy the return to the same place of departure.

- The minimum age for the wine tasting is 18 years old, 13 to 17 years old can participate in the tour.
- Children under 12 years old are not allowed to participate in the tour.
- The minimum number of participants for the tour to take place is 4 people. If there are not enough travellers, the tour will be cancelled, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer an alternative or a full refund.
- The tour is operated by a bilingual guide in English and Spanish.
- We recommend you wear comfortable shoes and warm clothing, as it gets a little chilly inside the cellars.
- If you have any health restrictions, please inform us at the time of booking.
- Always allow 10-20 minutes longer than the maps say and plan your route to the meeting point the day before.
- This tour will have a maximum of 20 travellers. Normally, the activity is done with 8 passengers.
