We recommend starting with this school visit to Madrid to get to know its old town (known as the “Barrio de los Austrias”). We will start with a tour discovering and explaining the origins of Madrid in the Middle Ages and its later arrival of the Habsburgs and their legacy that ended up being the capital of an Empire.
The students will reinforce their learning in a didactic visit with audiovisuals that the official guide will show, tell anecdotes and legends at each stop. It is a cultural visit that is undoubtedly the best way to learn about the history and symbols of the city.
